Los Angeles based rising producers JohnMitchell & Aston Peters make a splash debut on Dim Mak’s, New Noise with the dazzling Electro House jam DIAMOND EYES

Highlighting the artists’ specialties in bass-driven melodies and vocal earworm pieces, ‘Diamond Eyes’ shines brightly with a breathtaking vocal over an uplifting, yet aggressive lead synth.

Nashville techie, JohnMitchell, is quickly rising through the ranks, having opened for top-liners such as NGHTMRE, SLANDER, and Habstrakt. Meanwhile, LA local, Aston Peters, translates his passion for music production across intense and complex arrangements, often utilizing sounds influenced by,

“Classic EDM.”

About JohnMitchell: Born and raised in Nashville, JohnMitchell spent his early life taking apart electronics, manipulating computers, and absorbing as much tech knowledge as possible. His passion for electronics would go on to largely influence his musical journey. From his college dorm room in Knoxville, TN, he’d stay up late into the night developing and experimenting with sounds for his musical creations.

At 19 years old, he found himself opening for acts such as NGHTMRE, SLANDER, and Habstrakt. Later moving to Los Angeles, JohnMitchell created Bass Nite, an electrifying EDM event that showcased his friends’ talents as well as his own. Dropping heavily bass-driven tracks with good people by his side, he fell in love with the atmosphere created. With many collaborations, singles, and an EP on the way, JohnMitchell is set to bring a new sound into this decade of music.

About Aston Peters: From Las Vegas to now Los Angeles, Aston Peters has grown exponentially in addition to finding his sound. The young artist fell in love with EDM in 2012 while working at the MGM Grand swimming pool listening to the live sets coming from the Wet Republic day club. When the pandemic swept the nation, Peters learned a lot about himself, including the realization his passion lies in producing music. With a bright future ahead, 2021 is only the beginning for Aston Peters.

New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright-free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamer’s and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
