SEVEN DEADLY SINS
A series of interviews based on the Seven Deadly Sins from Gig Gossip.
We asked Alisa Tsybina what their answers to these sins would be…
LUST: Who or what do you find yourself lusting after currently, and why?
I miss the physical contact with my friends. Keeping distance to other people made me realize how much their hugs were empowering me, how good they made me feel and how much energy those loving cuddles gave me.
GREED: What should you be cutting down on, and why?
I should give less space to negative thoughts. Like questioning my work, for example. Or my personality, the words that I used in the last conversation, the things I said to a friend or a stranger, or insecurities about my body. This negative way of thinking prevents me sometimes from being aware of the things I can be happy for or even proud of.
GLUTTONY: What one thing could you happily consume limitless amounts of, and why?
Every single thing that I’m thinking of, is always leading to weariness after a while.
A favourite song, the sun or kisses lead to temper, a sunburn and sore lips if you’re not taking these things in small doses. Maybe it’s not so bad to have some limits.
SLOTH: Stop being so lazy! What is the thing you should be putting more effort in to at the moment, and why?
I should go more often on dates with myself, like visiting a museum, reading a book in a sauna or just walking around in a forest. Some alone time is always good to ground myself and get reattached, but I’m often too lazy or maybe also too anxious to do things on my own, when they leave my comfort zone. But I’m working on that.
WRATH: Who or what grinds your gears, and why?
People that are staring at me, insulting me or commenting my body because of tattoos.
But then I’m thinking about my untattooed skin in my past and I remember, that some people where always seeing something that they didn’t liked about me or my body anyway… they would always find something to complain about. And the worst thing about that is, that I have a „privileged“ body, so i ask myself how these judgmental people deal with other human beings who are less fitting in their stereotypical grid than I am?
ENVY: Who are you jealous of, and why?
Hmm, maybe I’m jealous of people who have a garden. I would love to plant my own veggies and watch them grow.
PRIDE: Answers on a boast card! What is your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement is my relationship with Gordian. We work very well together. We always try to understand each other and to find a common ground to solutions. It’s even more beautiful when we can create a song together that has touched both of our hearts.
