Actionnn and Haas’ joint single “Lessons” on all streaming platforms now.
The rolling bass and relentless percussion of UK Drill is sweeping the music industry at the moment;
sparking hits both in the hometown charts and across the pond in places such as New York, with
even rap heavyweights such as Drake and Travis Scott jumping on the sound. Scottish MCs Actionnn and Haas prove with “Lessons” that they can chop up these rhythms with the best of their English and American counterparts. Spitting razor sharp flows around the Ghosty-
produced beat, they trade verses around realities of life in Scotland and separating the real from the
posers.
Actionnn goes from strength to strength in his relatively new career, having shared the stage with
viral Scottish star Shogun and coming fresh off the BBC Radio backed UK Garage single “Good
Intentions” with Oakzy B. His flow shines here, proving he can feel at home on a multitude of
tempos.
Haas also comes off the back of a slew of releases, including the recent single “Johannesburg” and
last year’s “Joburgundy” project, both detailing his connection with his South African birthplace. He has been steadily building his profile with well-received freestyles on acclaimed Scottish platform
Twelve50TV, and “Lessons” proves he has no plans on letting up the pressure.
